Dan and Karen enjoy exploring the culinary delights of other countries through their international travels. They also enjoy returning home to share their latest discoveries with friends and neighbors, hosting the gourmet dinner parties they've become known for. Dan prepares culinary delights for dinner guests from the beautiful open kitchen of their new Patio Home. The large archway connecting the kitchen to the great room allows the couple to interact with their dinner guests while they cook. Pan seared rare Ahi tuna has become one of Dan's favorite dishes to prepare. He prefers to serve it with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc.
Dan and Karen have thoughtfully brought home the colors, textures and experiences of their favorite international destinations for everyday enjoyment. Karen can often be found relaxing in the great room while sipping a glass of wine by the fireplace. The soft sounds of tranquil, spa-like music often complete the mood. She also likes to relax in the hot tub on the patio, overlooking the beautifully landscaped back yard.
Dan and Karen both work from home as realtors for a leading real estate firm. On warm days, Karen takes her laptop out onto the deck, overlooking a babbling brook, where she can work via wireless Internet connection. Dan and Karen each have their own home office, where they have the privacy to make calls and conduct business without disturbing each other. As much as they love the spaciousness of their Patio Home, they also appreciate the fact that all of the space in their home is lived in and well utilized.
Enjoying A New Community
Their Four Bridges Country Club membership completes the resort lifestyle that the couple enjoys at Heather Springs. They both play golf and tennis and love meeting friends at the club for dinner.
Block Parties organized by Fischer Homes offer them the opportunity to get to know neighbors. The parties are especially nice during the winter months when people aren't getting out for walks and outdoor activities as much. Dan doesn't have to cut the grass, but has taken the time to plant a gorgeous arrangement of tulips to create great curb appeal for his new home. A maintenance-free lifestyle, without shared walls, is a perfect fit for Dan Sheaks and Karen Caruso.
