This past Sunday, the winner of the St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway was announced during a telethon on WCPO-TV 9. Sereke Dammer of Mt. Airy is the winner of the St. Jude Dream Home located in the Villa Grande Community of Ft. Thomas, Kentucky. Nineteen other winners took home appliances, merchandise and travel packages. The giveaway exceeded its goal by raising $1,001,855 in ticket sales and individual donations for the St. Jude Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
During the course of the giveaway there were more than 4,000 visitors to the Dream Home, and exactly 10,000 tickets were sold. Sponsors of this year's event include Fischer Homes, Touch of Class Interior Design, WCPO–TV 9, WUBE, B-105.1, Meijer and Widmer's Cleaners.
