New Home Decorating Tips
The Stanton Living Room Indianapolis Home Show If you're in the Indianapolis area and wondering what there is to do, check out this year's Centerpiece Home at Indianapolis Home Show. Tour a fully constructed and furnished home built entirely inside Exposition Hall at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. Fischer Homes is showcasing the Stanton floor plan as the Centerpiece Home in a very unconventional way. The theme of the entire home is "once upon a time, design that tells a story". The home is based off the latest design trend, the industrial revolution, which is all about refurbishing items and reclaimed looks. This chic urban farmhouse has a nice calming color palette with soft avocados, clean linens and fresh sky shades. As you enter the home you will feel like you have been swept into your dream fairytale with the large character like bookcase complete with sliding ladder. Its dramatic size creates a warm feel and is all a part of our once upon a time theme, with the hardware for the cabinets made from doorknobs of an old French castle, and the metal work restored from an Italian home that was being torn down. Paired with two leather reading chairs, and sconces that are on an old fashioned pulley system, this room is bound to make you want to curl up and dream about your favorite storybook memories. Across the hall is the elongated bar height table made from reclaimed barn wood and metal from old railway ties. Also added was a brick accent wall to finish the look.

The Stanton Morning Room Indianapolis Home Show As you make your way into the kitchen you will find our very own homemade table from a metal quilt rack and old barn wood. The door to the pantry is also an old barn door to further pair the two together. Throughout the rest of the main level you will see splashes of refurbished items, such as the metal paneling in the powder room from an old Victorian home, the antique screen door in the laundry room and the reclaimed driftwood cocktail table in the great room.

On the second level you will be in awe of the sweet little girl's dollhouse room The Stanton Girls Bedroom Indianapolis Home Show complete with a handmade dollhouse bed and adorable matching shutters. We will make you walk the plank in our young buckaroo's pirate themed room with floating bed and a few special guests to greet you. Then, just in time for this year's Super Bowl in Indianapolis, you'll feel like you're a star quarterback when you step onto the turf flooring in the boy's football room. The master retreat will leave you wanting to move in when you see what all this room has to offer. The headboard was handmade from two antique fireplace mantles to create this unique look. Accenting the back wall of the space is a whole wall of antique wood palettes to make the headboard stand out. Then to soften the space we dressed the windows with organic linen fabric panels.

Throughout the home there are so many unique stories and objects to look at. You will want to go through the home over and over again just to see it all. With an eye- catching exterior, repurposed furnishings and a friendly spacious floor plan, you'll surely want to make this home your very own for you and your family.

So, make sure you check out the Indianapolis Home Show from January 20 thru January 29 and tour Fischer Homes Centerpiece Home.
